Purpose of Research
Hub & Goals

This webpage will serve as a hub or coordination point for global scientists and researchers to find each other, share their field research plans, share their data, and share their publications.

Who can take part?

  • Domestic and international individuals who have published about the lake
  • Domestic and international science parties who are willing to come to the lake to conduct field measurements, with a commitment to submit data and scientific reports to peer-reviewed international academic journals

Goals

Reviews the current environmental status of Khuvsgul Lake
Assists in designing field observation and sampling plans for the 2027 field expedition.
Organizes a special volume of reviews and future research plans on the environmental protection of the lake.
Assists in inviting voluntary field scientists and early career researchers to participate in the 2027 field expedition and future expeditions.
Assists in organizing training sessions for volunteer sampling and observation participants.
Assist in developing the Khuvsgul Lake routine environmental monitoring program.
Convene online and offline meetings periodically.
